On May 12, 2020, Colette Murr-Cowan was involved in a very bad car wreck which left her in critical condition, fighting for her life. Some of the injuries she endured included a brain bleed, punctures in both lungs, a collapsed lung (this came later), damaged spleen (spleen was removed), damaged intestines (ileostomy), shattered pelvis, broken ribs, several other broken bones and wounds. She is now in a rehabilitation/physical therapy center working very hard to regain her strength and learn how to walk and move the way she used to. She's able to walk across the room and back 4-5 times with the assistance of a cane right now! Yayy!! She has a lot of nerve damage in her right arm and hand & has minimal use but she is working hard to get it back to normal. She is a FIGHTER! We are hoping to bring her home by the end of August. She will need Home Health Care as well as physical therapy and some medical equipment when she comes home. There are some things that will need renovated in her home since she is not able to get around like she used to. She will also need a new vehicle eventually and to pay bills that have piled up etc... And last but not least... I think she deserves a good long massage after all of this. As many of you know, Colette is a 4th generation native of Falcon, Colorado. She loves her family, and life in general. She always has a smile on her face and has a way of making everyone around her smile as well. She has beat all odds over the past 2 1/2 months!!
