Update March 2026

After months of Chemo and Linda being hospitalized for allmost a month in January do to complications, she found out that her tumor had doubled in size. Not what anyone wants to hear. So surgery was scheduled on Feb 26th. Its been almost a month now, and had a follow up with her oncologist. She will need to have 2 scans done, and as long as they are clear, she will begin radiation therapy everyday for about a month, and 6-8 more months of chemotherapy. Still not what anyone whats to hear. Linda is doings this on her own, she has exhausted all her resources. She really needs our help, please please please help her not fight alone. She is her only income, and she will still have days here and there she just can't do and need to rest. Please anything will help, $5 $10 $20

In April Linda felt a lump on the side of her right breast. Alarmed, she quickly went in to see her primary care doctor and a slew of tests including bloodwork, mamogram, ultrasound, and needle biopsy confirmed her worst fear. In the middle of July, she heard the terrifying words "You have breast cancer".

Invasive ductal carcinoma, grade lll. Triple negative.

In the next year, Linda will undergo chemotherapy, a lumpectomy, followed by radiation therapy. Being single and only having one income, treatment expenses will make it impossible for her. Insurance denied her chemo treatment. She won’t be able to stay in her home without help.

As her being the only source of income, it is critical that Linda be able to focus on her healing and not worry about where she will live or if she can afford food or to keep the lights on. I've known Linda for 44 years. She is always there for her friends and family. She has been a CNA for over 20 years, as well as getting her medical assistant degree.

Linda loves helping people. During treatment, she will have days she will not be able to work, due to treatment and being sick. Her job is very physical lifting people and taking care for their needs. It is very hard work. It puts a toll on you, imagine fighting cancer at the same time. Linda MUST win this fight.
