Funding for Cancer Treatment

Hi,

Our names are Kay Casey and Jodi Gerus .... We're raising funds for our dear friend, Fiona.

Fiona was first diagnosed with stage-three cervical cancer in March 2022. She endured 25 rounds of radiation (every day) for five weeks, chemotherapy and two invasive surgeries. In the late fall / early winter of 2022, Fiona was elated to hear from her Doctors they could no longer see the cervical tumour and her treatments were a success.

Unfortunately, on Jan. 11, 2023, following a CT scan, Fiona was advised by her Doctors they have found a secondary mass and that her cancer has metastasized to her lungs (stage-four). As a result, Fiona requires several rounds of chemotherapy commencing on January 25th, 2023 (with potential immunotherapy treatment).

The reason for our Go-Fund-Me is to support Fiona with the costs associated with treating her cancer. Fiona has decided to implement a combination of Eastern and Western treatment (ie. an integrative Naturopathic Cancer Oncologist who works hand-in-hand with her current Oncologists at Jurvinsky Cancer Centre).

Fiona's fundraiser starts at $3500.00 for her out-of-pocket medical expenses and her Naturopathic Cancer Doctor.

In the event Fiona's fundraiser surpasses the goal listed above, every dollar will continue to go towards all expenses related to her treatment.
