Afghan Refugee Employment Initiative

The West Springfield Rotary Club Foundation is raising money to improve the employment opportunities for Afghan refugees settling in the Northern Virginia area.  Your donations will help with job training, resume development, laptop purchases, transportation to interviews, English classes and other services to ensure our long-time allies, most of whom worked for the US Government, find meaningful work in our area. 

The West Springfield Rotary Club Foundation is the charitable arm of the West Springfield Rotary Club.  The Foundation provides community services to the greater Springfield Area, including scholarships for low income students to attend Northern Virginia Community College, holiday gifts to local underprivileged children, dictionaries to third grade students in Title One schools, awards to teachers and first responders, essay contests for 7th grade students and financial contributions to ECHO and the Lorton Community Action Center.
