Afghan Persecuted Family Escape Fund
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
I'm Aaron. I worked with some very good Afghan people who supported the United States as interpreters under the assumption after the U.S. left Afghanistan, they would be able to live free, safe lives in their home country. Unfortunately, as we all know, this is no longer the case.
These families are Hazara (ethnic group) and are persecuted for both their ethnicity and their support for the United States during the conflict in Afghanistan. They have to move around alot and a couple of their cousins and brothers have been executed already from what they've told us so far.
I have gotten a family of 12 over the border to a neighboring country but I'm still attempting to get others (family of 4, family of 12 and another family of 8) over the border to safety. For obvious reasons, I cannot give any more information about myself, the families in danger or the specifics of where they are.
Once the money is raised, I will send it via Venmo or other secure means to an American citizen who is coordinating efforts in Afghanistan through his contacts on the ground. The money will be used as follows:
$300/person (24 people) to facilitate safehouse and secure movement across the border to a safe country. ($7200)
$1400/family of 4 for living expenses for 6 months= $8,400
$2400/family of 8 for 6 months= $14,400
$3400/family of 12 for 6 months= $20,400
TOTAL: $50,400
I wish I could tell you more to put your minds at ease about who/what you're contributing to. Hopefully, some of my trusted agents that forward this fundraiser can vouch for me.
I can tell you your donations will have a DIRECT impact in saving the lives of persecuted men, women and children. I have spent over a thousand dollars of my own money and my family and friends have spent about $7000 to get the first family to safety. The ONLY thing this money will be used for, is to keep these families in a safe house, feed them and move them across the border into a safe country. Once they are there, I'd like to keep them safe and able to get started in a foreign country.
I have reached out to two charities for monetary support but unfortunately, they are only supporting refugees who are already in the United States or are U.S. citizens.
Absolutely no pressure to donate--but we would appreciate the support if you feel so inclined.
Respectfully,
Aaron
