So Glastonbury Afghan Refugee Family Resettlement

Our South Church team in Glastonbury, CT is Resettling an Afghan Refugee Family into our local community. We did this successfully with a Syrian Refugee Family in 2016 and we will help another family in crisis now. We are working with IRIS, an official refugee support agency in New Haven. https://irisct.org/

Our church team did this successfully and in the past, helping Refugee families to become productive members of American society. We have the ability to rise to meet this need and do it again. Your financial support will help us to meet the initial needs of the first few months of rent, utilities and groceries while the working age family members are looking for full time employment and becoming self sufficient. Anything we raise in addition to those needs for our designated family will be used to support additional Refugee families, working with IRIS.

These people are in need. They risked their lives to help our soldiers. Please help financially support this project.
