Love for Lydia

Meet Lydia. A sweet 3-year-old girl with lots of love to give to anyone she meets. She loves Peppa Pig and reading books. She loves playing outside and spending time with her friends.

Lydia was recently being treated for pneumonia and her condition was not improving. After 2 ER visits, she was admitted to the pediatric floor and soon after transferred to the PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit).

After many invasive tests and interventions, the medical team has diagnosed her with Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS). An aggressive medical condition that attacks the nerves causing paralysis.

Lydia is currently undergoing aggressive treatments to help her little body fight.

The family’s world has changed, and they are facing a very long medical journey. Lydia faces potentially 6 months to a year of rehab that may require her to relearn how to walk all over again.

At this time we ask that you pray for Lydia's recovery and for strength for Mom and Dad.
