Pleased to introduce you to Team AFBC (Awesome Flying Banana Casseroles) who is a part of CLASS cooperative (Creative Learning through ArtS and Sciences) based in San Rafael, CA.  This super team of students took on the Odyssey of the Mind challenge this year, selecting a classics performance problem called Aesop Gone Viral.  Their 'out of the box' solution was recognized at both the regional and state levels, and they have earned the opportunity to travel to compete in the World Finals competition taking place in Ames, Iowa at Iowa State University, May 25th-28th!

Team AFBC, their coaches and a parent chaperone need financial support to fund their airfare, room and board, and shipment of their props to Iowa.  Every little bit will help the team achieve their goal of traveling to the world competition!

The opportunity to meet other creative thinkers from all over America and the world (~20 countries participate) is truly special and an experience that will certainly stretch all our minds!  Our team is planning on serving as a "Buddy team" to one of the international teams competing. 

We truly are thankful for folks far and near who are supporting us with prayers and gifts allowing us to make this journey a reality for a group of stellar students who are learning how to be positive team players each step of the way!
