Help support Andrew Shiozaki’s family after fire

On January 8, I heard news of the Eaton Fire. I immediately reached out to my brother Andrew because he and his family live in Altadena. I sent him a text to ask how he and his family were doing. He replied that they were fine, but that the house was gone!

My heart dropped. I immediately shared the devastating news with my parents. My mom and I cried, and I couldn’t believe those words came out of my mouth, let alone something like this happening to my brother and his family.

Luckily, Andrew, Janice, Ryden (and their cat, Casper) were safe and healthy, but that was only the beginning of having to start over. They lost all their material possessions, but survived, and are already busy taking care of the necessities.

Many of our friends have been asking how they can help, so this page has been created for that purpose. Donations will help them with food, clothing, bedding, towels, etc. and anything else needed to rebuild their lives. They literally lost everything.
