Jack was just 19 years old. A baby to most of us, just starting out in life, and yet here we are, saying goodbye in a way that we never thought possible. He was a loving son, brother and friend and while his time here was short, the impact he had on those around him will last forever.
Jack was the kind of person who made life feel more alive. He had a passion for adventure—whether he was out on the water with a fishing rod in hand, feeling the wind rush past him on a motorcycle, or tearing up trails on his dirt bike. He lived life with energy, courage, and a sense of freedom that inspired those around him.
But beyond the thrill and excitement, what truly defined Jack was his heart. He was always ready to help, without hesitation or need for recognition. He showed up—for his family, his friends, for anyone who needed a hand or a kind word. His loyalty and love ran deep, and if you were lucky enough to be in his circle, you knew it.
We may never understand why someone so full of life had to leave so soon. But in our grief, we hold onto the memories—the laughter, the adventures, the quiet kindness he shared every day. Jack taught us to live with heart, to ride fast, to fish patiently, and to love fiercely.
Though he’s no longer with us in the way we wish, his spirit lives on—in every engine’s roar, every sunrise on the lake, and in the lives he touched so deeply.
I ask for donations for my sister and her family to ease some of their financial burdens during this difficult time and to help them take the time they need to grieve such a tremendous loss of their son.
This fundraiser will benefit Christine Axx, Jack’s mother.
