AeroCare: Engineering Hope for Remote Areas

Donation protected
AeroCare is a senior capstone team of 10 aerospace & mechanical engineers from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, AZ working towards creating an unmanned medical delivery vehicle (UMDV). Our objective is to build a vehicle that is able to deliver a 4-pound payload of blood and medical supplies to remote areas and go 100 miles in less than an hour.

While we are still in the design phase, our UMDV will weigh under 35 pounds and be able to fit in the back of an 8-foot pickup truck. The AeroCare team is developing this drone to be operable in a wide range of environments from -15 to 50 degrees Celsius and altitudes up to 12,000 feet.

While the school gives us a handful of money, it is not enough to produce a full working model of our UMDV. We are very ambitious and determined to raise enough money to buy all the parts we need to bring our UMDV to life and have it successfully flying by December 2025. AeroCare will be our final project while we attend Embry-Riddle, and while we began this journey not too long ago in January 2025, we have already poured all of our hearts into it and want to see it flourish.

Any donation means the world to us, and we would love for you to follow along on AeroCare's developments and successes.
