My name is Sadie Reimer. I am a junior in high school and I have been dancing since I was 3 years old, following my older sibling's footsteps in the dance world. This summer, I have been accepted into Orlando Ballet School's summer intensive which is a prestigious ballet company that accepts only 300 students nationally. The cost for training for 8 hours a day, every day, for 7 weeks, is roughly $8,000 not including pointe shoes, and travel. My mother is a single parent who also had to buy a house this spring, so the cost is setting us back. The payment needs to be made by March 15. Because college is coming up soon, and this is the career I wish to pursue, this summer intensive is the best way for me to make the most of my summer and get training that will help me achieve my dream. Dancing is what I want to do with my life and it would be absolutely amazing if this could happen. My level of gratitude would be indescribable if you were to help make this possible. I have worked so hard to get where I am and this could experience could really change my life forever.
