AEPi & TEP UGA: Matthew Friedman Memorial Foundation
Donation protected
On November 17th, 2024, UGA's chapters of AEPi and TEP will face off in their annual charity basketball game hosted by Hillel.
Proceeds from the game will go to the Matthew Friedman Memorial Foundation, a cause deeply personal to brothers from each fraternity.
The Foundation honors the memory of Matthew Friedman.
A Pre-Med student studying Biology with a concentration in Neurobiology and Behavior, Matthew was 19 years old when a ruptured brain aneurysm took his life.
Matthew was an extraordinary student and had a passion for serving his community, volunteering as an EMT on his local first aid squad. In an effort to keep Matthew’s spirit alive, the Foundation provides support to local volunteer Emergency Services.
The Foundation also supports brain aneurysm research, with the hope that we can prevent future tragedies like Matt's.
We greatly appreciate donations of any size and hope you will help us keep Matthew's inspiring memory alive!
