My name is Morgan and I am raising funds for my daughter Aeda to receive a brain surgery and physical therapy!

Aeda is 15 months old and was diagnosed initially with Infantile Spasms at 4 months old, more recently her diagnosis has been changed to Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome. This is an epileptic disorder that causes developmental delay and low muscle tone. Aeda currently has three different types of seizures which has caused significant delays in her development. Aeda will be having Corpus Callosotomy surgery November 1st, to help stop her seizures. After she is cleared, her doctor encourages as much physical therapy as possible. However, we have yet to find a physical therapist in our area that offers intensive therapy- which Aeda needs. Unfortunately this is not covered by insurance and will all be out of pocket. ECI (state provided therapy), only sees Aeda once every two weeks for one hour, and we have made no progress with them so far. I am a single mom, and I recently lost my job and had little to no luck finding a new job thus far. I have covered all expenses not covered by insurance out of pocket. We are trying to fund the intensive therapy, as well as flights and hotel for the weeklong service. As well as medical bills that will not be covered by insurance and other medical expenses.

Aeda has had one virtual session and one week long intensive session. During that virtual session alone we were able to see what she is capable of. Aeda has made a complete 180 change after her week long intensive. However, with that being said, Aeda is still not caught up developmentally. She's still not able to sit up by herself, crawl, or stand. We're hoping that this surgery and intensive therapy sessions can help get Aeda to where she needs to be.
