I have a really hard time asking for help, but here I am.

I created this fundraiser to try and raise the money I need to upgrade my vehicle. I woke up to the flat tire you see above. It's not just flat; it's completely blown out. The frame of the vehicle is rusted out underneath, and there is a laundry list of other issues with this vehicle that have put us on borrowed time. I am really grateful that it has been dependable in spite of its issues.

So why not just replace the tire? That is actually the immediate goal. My family needs a second vehicle. There are five of us. My oldest son and I both work outside of the house. My husband works remotely. We live in a rural community. My job is 25 miles away. I need a vehicle that I can travel for work for training events without leaving the rest of my family without a car.

Financially, we're scraping by. We live paycheck to paycheck like a lot of people. We help others where and when we can. It's these unexpected circumstances that find us struggling to get to a spot where we could save up for a better vehicle. We just need some help.

All funds will be used towards the repairs of our current car and towards the purchase of a second vehicle. If you're in a place where you are able to help, I thank you. If not, I understand. Times are hard for a lot of folks out there.
