AED Devices and training for Dek Hockey Rinks
Donation protected
Over the past year ar Cranberry Dek Hockey, we had an adult suffer a heart attack while playing a game. Due to a fast response by the EMS and players who were trained in CPR, the player survived.
At North Hills Dek Hockey last month, we had another player suffer a heart attack on the dek while playing. Unfortunately, he didnt pull through.
We are like a big family at the rinks and dont ever want to have this happen again. In order to give our players the best chance to survive any future incidents, we want to have an AED device at both deks. We also want to offer a training class to all the refs, scorekeepers, and team captains.
We have over 1500 players at the rinks, so if we can get $2 per player, we can help save a life.
