We recently learned that our friend Jackie has been diagnosed with breast cancer. It is at stage 2 and has spread to her lymph nodes. Given the aggressive nature of this cancer, Jackie will begin chemotherapy immediately. Despite the recent diagnoses, medical bills have already started coming in.

Over the years, we have enjoyed so many great times with Jackie; her quick sarcastic wit can have you rolling on the floor with laughter. We would love for her to be able to keep her sense of humor by not having to worry about finances. She is also one of the most loving and generous people we know.

Jackie is a wonderful mother who would do anything for her children. She is also a very supportive sister. We feel very strongly about supporting Jackie's husband Tom through this difficult time.

The family has been through a great deal of cancer grief in the recent past. Sadly, Jackie has lost both her Grandmother, Mother and an Aunt to cancer. She is well aware of the fight ahead of her, but Jackie is a fighter and will not give up. So neither will we.

While Jackie and her family are facing this challenging time, we want to help in any way we can and know that you will too. Let's work toward easing the financial burden that this awful disease is making on this dear family.
