AE Pi Kappa Phi UF - Perseverance Scholarship
Donation protected
Back in 2020 several of us were at the UF AE Pi Kappa Phi Founders Day weekend at the scholorship presentation and began to talking about another type of scholorship. We had all shared stories of college adversities and wanted to support active chapter members that may have these expereinces now by setting up a scholoship award. The idea is to help them continue on a path and be succesful even though their path may not have been a straight one and have a bit of a boost during trials.
This award is meant for a student who has overcome adversity and continues to persevere towards a path of education completion, despite the obstacles he has faced. Many alumni know first-hand that life can throw curve balls when we least expect it. Despite this, we've persevered, recovered, healed, and learned. Success has often been based on the grit that comes from grinding through these types of experiences. To encourage active AE members who may have gone through strife we have created this scholarship. Heavy emphasis for this award is the individual’s efforts to endure and overcome their hardship.
Would you consider supporting this by making a donation and helping us carry forward the tradition of resiliency support that so many of us have benefited from and remind them what true brotherhood is.
