I am Felix, a 14 year old boy. My school have given me an amazing opportunity to go on an expedition to Eswatini (formerly Swaziland). In this expedition we will be trekking, going on a safari, and most importantly helping at one of the Neighbourhood Care Points (NCPs) for 4 days. This can involve helping improve infrastructure as well as assisting in education programmes with children. The staff on our expedition discuss and assess and ask to the communities needs so that we give them what they need and when they need it. I will learn many skills during this expedition including how to engage effectively with communities.

For those worried about the climate impacts of the expedition, Trees4Travel has teamed up with us to offset the carbon emissions released by the long flight there and back.

To take part in this life changing expedition I will be attempting to cycle 200 miles in 2 weeks to fundraise money, starting on 20th August. This will be a challenging task and I hope this will give you reason to help contribute to this fundraising effort as I need your support to make this possible.

My monetary goal is £2000 as this will provide me with a considerable amount towards my expedition and will bring me closer towards being able to help communities in Eswatini.
