Hey everyone, we are Wolfgang Airsoft. Recently Ady came along to our site as he wanted to join us. Let's just say he loved it! It's given him a new lease of life!
As you can see Ady is wheelchair bound after becoming paralysed 15 years ago in a motorbike accident. He has a fantastic sense of humour and is a brilliant shot. But that's not too surprising as he shot for DTSGB. (Disability target shooting of Great Britain)
He's currently playing in his genny wheelchair however it's not fully suited to our woodland site and we've had a couple of mishaps. And even afterwards he's up and raring to go again!!
There's this awesome piece of kit called the Xroad Kit which will let Ady get around so much easier due the nature of the tyres.
The kit consists of offroad tyres which are so much chunkier then the ones he's using now, new wheels and mudguards, however they come with quite a hefty price tag.
The new wheels will also allow Ady to travel to a lot of new places with his family and young son where he would of struggled to visit with his current tyres.
If we manage to secure the funding for his new wheels whatever we get extra will be going on making the site more accessible for all disabilities.
