My story; one of tragedy and triumph.
Had someone told me in 2014 that I would be audaciously chasing after my dreams not 3 years after suffering the loss of my biggest hero, my strongest champion- my father, I would’ve said, “IN. WHAT. WORLD.”
But here I am, ready to embark on my greatest solo adventure to date; Blissology teacher training in Bali, Indonesia, April 2017.
After losing my dad to cancer in September of 2014, I have spent the last two and a half years piecing myself back together. Figuring out who I am (which will forever be a beautiful evolution) and what I want; how I am going to live my passion, make the world a better place AND honor my late father.
Enter yoga.
I have spent the last 16 months teaching all around the city of San Antonio, meeting the kindest souls, sharing, connecting. It is down this path that I discovered my passion for healing; My passion for making people feel safe and loved, creating a space for not only myself to heal, but everyone else around me. Everyone shows up to yoga for some reason- to become more flexible, to gain peace of mind, to escape reality for 60-90 minutes- the reasons are truly endless. However each one of these people, MY people, yours and ours- My family, students, and fellow yogis have exposed me to one, real, RAW truth: we are ALL here to heal some, if not every part of ourselves.
My hope in setting up this fundraiser is to humbly accept donations so that I have the ability to learn More, to travel More, to experience More.
So I may then return home at the end of this journey; feet dirtied by the soil of different lands, heart full from the people and places I fell in love with, mind stretched by the countless learnings- both in and out of formal trainings-
