Adyn’s All-American

Hello, everyone. I am Adyn Rockwood. I am a junior on the Needles High School Mustang Cheer Team. I was chosen as an All-American cheerleader at our home camp this year. Here is some information on All American. “To be named an All-American Cheerleader, you must demonstrate exceptional skills in cheerleading, including tumbling, stunts, jumps, dance, and overall athleticism. In addition, you may need to show strong leadership qualities, good sportsmanship, and a positive attitude.”

All Americans have the option to cheer in the Rome New Years parade or in Honolulu, Hawaii at the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade.

I have chosen to cheer at the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade but I can only do that if I raise enough money to go.

I have been chosen as an All-American two times but have not been able to go anywhere due to funds.

I am passionate about cheer and have been doing it since middle school. I have been working hard to improve and become not only a better cheerleader but also a better teammate. I am also starting this GoFundMe because my mom is a single mom, and she works three jobs to help pay for my two brothers, two little girls, and me. I will also be doing more fundraisers to help pay for this trip that I’ve been dreaming of since seeing some of my most significant cheer role models go when I was in middle school.
