Help Erica Beat Breast Cancer!

On January 1st 2022, I got the call informing me that my biopsy came back positive for cancer (mass and lymph nodes) - not the best way to start the new year. At age 38 I never thought I would be going in for a biopsy on a mass in my left breast. I am a single mom of an 11yr old boy. This is not the life I wanted for him - to see his mother go through this struggle. I also take care of my disable father alone. Mentally my son, family, and I are struggling with the news. I need to beat this for myself, my son, and my family.

I have never been one to ask for help, but I currently live paycheck to paycheck as an educator. These medical bills are large and there is no way I will be able to make ends meet. They have just started and there will be more to come - surgery and chemo will start this month.

Currently sitting with 4 bills roughly around 5,000 out of pocket.

I fear the chemotherapy costs, after looking it up online.

Any little bit helps and is appreciated. Every dollar goes a long way during this difficult time. These funds will help with all medical expenses and associated cost to come. This is far from who I am…I am always the one giving and doing for others because that is who I am. I just don’t know what else to do. I am so appreciative for everyone.
