AdvoCats is a 501c3 nonprofit cat rescue serving Spotsylvania and all the surrounding counties. We focus on helping people to perform TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return/Rehome). Our services include boots on the ground help, loaning traps, educational seminars, foster support, and assistance in booking medical spays and neuters.

We have been working hard since 2010 and it is our opinion that it is time to get state support involved. Just in the past 2 years, we have seen an increase in rabies in the feline colonies in our community. One easy thing you can do is go to our website www.AdvoCatsLife.org and sign the petition. Once we have reached 1000 signatures, we will be booking an appointment with Governor Spanberger. We will present our concerns and hope that she will be able to recognize the importance of this mission and will create a committee to support our efforts. In the meantime, we are still caring for over 100 cats, supporting multiple TNR sites with our traps and expertise, and routinely educating the public about the truth concerning "free-roaming" cats.
