We are students from St.Joan of Arc CHS hosting a charity event, to fundraise money for a local Rescue and animal Sanctuary. The business leadership course we are enrolled in requires us to raise money for a foundation that we hold close to our hearts to help give back to the community. The charity was selected by the group to support a cause that emphasizes the importance of animal welfare and strives to improve the lives of animals. The foundation works alongside communities to develop plans to prepare the animals for their new homes and ensure they receive the medical care required. The donated funds are put towards the rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption of animals who have been abused, neglected, and abandoned throughout Canada, and provide immediate medical treatment. The rescue and sanctuary heavily rely on donations as they are not publically funded hence why we are so eager to offer our support. Any donations would be greatly appreciated and an incredible asset to the rescue. The event will be hosted at our school and all businesses willing to partake will be advertised!!
