On Christmas Day, Bailey didn’t seem herself. Our usually boundlessly energetic pup didn’t want to stand, walk, eat or do anything but sit in her bed.
After days of worry and countless vet appointments it became clear something was horribly wrong with her spine.
In recent days she has totally lost the use of her back legs and we were told without an MRI and surgery we should consider euthanasia.
Update: Bailey is having an MRI and will require surgery for either a tumour or slipped disc. We’ve been quoted £8000 for total cost to give her quality of life.
Insurance will not cover the cost so we are hoping to raise whatever we can. We want to do whatever it takes to help save her and will give her the best medical care.
