As many theatres have experienced, COVID has placed us a bit behind. In early 2020 we put our limited production budget into our production of "Popeye LIVE" which was canceled a week into the rehearsal process. We were unable to recoup the costs and so it was lost to us. Admittedly, we rarely have much money to put into our productions, mainly relying upon personal out of pocket and the generosity of the artist putting sweat equity into the production in the hopes of generating enough ticket sales to squeak out a profit to pay they a small stipend.
We are very excited to be preparing for our return to the stage at the Chapel Theatre in March of 2022 with our original production of The Adventures of Dex Dixon: Paranormal Dick, the Musical. It is an ambitious piece and it will be an amazing adventure for all of us as we get back into the swing of presenting amazing entertainment for a audiences returning to the theatre.
We are hoping to raise some money to pay for costumes, sets and props in order to set ourselves up to be able to pay out a larger sum to the cast, crew and musicians.
Your donations will help us make that happen.
