Hi,
I'm creating a retro sci-fi comedy series that can be enjoyed by kids of all ages! It's a wacky, zany world with a host of fun characters reminiscent of an earlier age. Retro futurism at its best, everyone can have a laugh at this quirky world that is sure to spark the imagination of young an old alike!
Combining 1950's B movie visuals with 1960's TV humor, this series (shot in black and white) has a Star Wars sized universe with over 50 characters.
A true labor of love, I have been developing this project since 1997. I have written two feature films and over 40 short film episodes, have been purchasing vintage props, wardrobe and have cast professional actors in the roles. I have also created a teaser for the series....
...and have filmed/edited four chapters which finish out the first full episode. You can watch an early version of the first chapter below, but you should know that it's not 100% complete yet. We now have original music to lay in and mostly just post audio work to do for it.
I am now in the process of finishing out what remains to be completed for the four different chapters and am still in search of a 1950's car for one of the final scenes that needs to be shot.
All funds received will be used to continue to forward the project through production (filming), and post-production (editing, music, etc.) This is a passion project for me as well as a way to pass on the kind of stories I loved best to a new generation for their enjoyment and inspiration.
My dream is to be able to use the creative gifts that I have been given in a way that gives something positive and fun back to the world, so any donation you can make to help forward this project and those intentions would be greatly appreciated:)
