Adventure Man is the larger than life true story of Paddy Turner, who ran away from his family home at a mere 15 in order to join the British army. His service took him from dirt-poor county Wexford to various countries around the world; Indonesia, Korea, Argentina... Living a life shrouded in mystery, Paddy spent most of his life presumed dead, whereabouts unknown. Adventure Man tells his story; how his time in the military evolved into a career as a stuntman parachutist, how he managed to earn himself an MBE, several wives and a numerous, unknown amount of children.

A comedic documentary from the National Film School, Adventure Man tells an ambitious story of globe trotting over several decades and attempts to de-mystify an international man of mystery.
