Hair Today Gone Tomorrow

When my mama underwent chemo I watched as multiple people rallied around her and shaved their heads in an unconditional display of love and unity, so that she wouldn't feel alone after losing her hair.

At that time I opted not to shave my head, but I made her a promise that once I achieved my occupational dream, I would.

Fast forward a few years to 2023 and I did it. I achieved what I had only dreamed of for many years.

My mama went to heaven in 2016, but I have no doubt in my mind that she has been with me every step of the way and I plan to keep the promise I made to her and shave my head.

The funds raised will go to Foothills Country Hospice Society. While my mama was there the staff were absolutely wonderful and made her time there a little bit brighter.
