Okay so I know I always post pics of Matthew smiling and happy but things have gotten really bad and I'm reaching out to anyone who has advice or can help as what Matthew, Rob, and I are about to undergo is going to take a tremendous toll emotionally physically and financially...and I can't forget about his this will effect my sweet Bella.

Matthew's last orthopedic appointment showed that his hip have deteriorated beyond repair. So I took him for a ct scan of his socket and multiple surgeries are necessary asap.

Matthew will be having 3 surgeries in 1 and I will not give you the medical terms as they are not to anyones understanding. 1st he will have work done on the socket to try to stabilize it to keep him out of pain. Then they will take both of his hips which are out of socket due to his cerebral palsy and not being able to run and play like an average child. They will turn both hips back in stabilizing them with plates and screws, and then finally they will be doing tendon lengthening on both his legs to try to stretch out the muscles.

This surgery will take about 6 hours at Lurie's hospital if no complications arise. He will possibly need blood transfusions during and after the surgery.

Following the surgery Matthew and I will have to live at Lurie's for at least 3 weeks to manage pain and do some therapy if he can tolerate it but he will be in a full body brace. After he is released. He will be transferred home in full body brace and a lay down wheelchair.

After 6 weeks he will have to begin 3 hour therapies 3 times a week for 6 months to a year just to get him back to baseline( the condition he is in now)

I have become so completely horrified with all of this and all my baby boy has endured and only at age 11.

I am asking for help. I hate to do this but I dont know how I can live 2 hours away to take care of Matthew not work and still get Bella to school and make sure she is okay as well.

I will keep everyone posted. Thank you for Listening and your Support!
