Adrian's Medical care

Donation protected
The end of 2020 we received some tough news. After the initial shock, the holidays and settling into our new routines Mario and I are ready to share with everyone.
In November we found out Adrian has a rare cancer. He was diagnosed with stage 4 metastic Aveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma (ARMS). It started with a small tumor in his left foot that spread to his lymph nodes and bone marrow. After the removal of tumor on his foot and his pinky toe and bone, we began an intense chemo treatment. He will also undergo radiation for part of the treatment and a long maintenance chemo once the current chemo cycle shows success.

Adrian is strong and his spirits are still good through all the surgeries, scans, chemo treatments, blood and platelet transfusions and everything else he has had to endure. We have our good days and our bad days. We always move forward and remain positive and hopeful.
We have a wonderful team of doctors that are making sure he is getting the best treatment, healing and love.
However, the journey is far from over. ARMS likes to fight hard for it's survival too. Though he should do better during chemo, this cancer seems to always come back.  There is no known cure for this type of metastic cancer. We keep hope that one will be found as numerous research is being done and medical advances happen all the time.

As parents it is a very hard thing to watch your child go through something where you can't really help. So we cherish each and every moment and wrap Adrian in love. We reach out to invite anyone, who would like to, to send love and prayers to our little boy.

Thank you everyone for your support, love and thoughts.

We love you all and appreciate you❤️❤️❤️
