Adrian’s Long Recovery
Donation protected
Hi, many of you may know my family. I am the big sister to Adrian. Ive been feeling very small and helpless these past few days. My not so little brother was in a scary bad motorcycle accident Saturday, April 19th around midnight. Adrian broke his pelvis, shattered both wrists, punctured his bladder, and many more injuries from being thrown from his bike. We are SO grateful that he is even alive. He’s undergone one surgery already. They platted his wrists, and pelvis. But he is still bleeding internally so the fight is not over yet. He’s a very athletic, strong, healthy 21 year old, who’s turning 22 this week. The doctor has already prepared us for the long recovery he will have to endure after all of this is done. They foresee this taking at-least a year, and even after that he may never be able to do everything he was able to. He will be in a wheelchair for a while since he isn’t allowed to have any weight on his pelvic, and he won’t be able to move his hands, and will need a lot of physio to gain mobility again. So this also means, no work. I’m his big sister, Justin, is his big brother, and we feel helpless. We can’t take his pain away, we can’t fix this. All we can do is pray, for the doctors, for him, for our parents. And ask for prayers from our friends and family.
Asking for financial help is not something we like to do. We understand everyone is financially struggling in one area or another. So we don’t want to ask for this, but he needs any help at this point. If you can’t donate, share and or pray.
Thank you for EVERYONE who’s been reaching out. Everyone who’s been praying and continuing to pray for Adrian.
