In Memory of Adrianne Janette Byrd

Adrianne passed away at home on October 27, 2020, at the young age of 49. A two-time cancer survivor, Adrianne endured recent health issues and chose to address them holistically. Over the last few months, and with her pre-existing conditions as well as the threat from Covid-19, her health took a turn for the worse. 

 Adrianne leaves behind a mother, two sisters, and a niece. She loved spending time with and being a role model for her niece, Courtney. We miss Adrianne dearly. We are asking for your donations to assist with final expenses and to help honor Adrianne’s’ legacy. The goal is to keep her books within the literary community and encourage others to follow their passion and live their dreams even when no one else believes in them.

 A prolific National Bestselling author, she wrote Romance novels as Adrianne Byrd, Urban Romance as De'nesha Diamond & Layla Jordan, and Young Adult novels as A.J. Byrd. She has published more than 60 books and won numerous literary awards. Adrianne had a passion for writing.  Because she believed in her ability to make her dream a reality, she left her full-time job soon after she sold her first book to pursue her writing career full-time. She never looked back and urged other writers to commit to their dream.

Adrianne loved to talk politics and could rally up the crowd whenever she saw fit. She also enjoyed a good debate and always had an opinion.
