Adrianna’s fight

LaFia’s recently received news that no parent can imagine hearing… their daughter, Adrianna, has Cancer. Bone cancer called Osteosarcoma. Adrianna began experiencing discomfort in her shoulder which limited her playing soccer, simple daily activities, and just simply being a teen. After several doctor visits and some extensive testing the last few weeks the family received the devastating news. They have an incredibly difficult road ahead of them with weeks of treatment back and fourth to Sloan Kettering in NYC. Adrianna will undergo chemotherapy, surgery, scans and more testing through her journey. We can only ask for prayers, support and strength that this family can be strong to help her overcome the difficult road ahead. Sharon and Anthony will also have financial difficulties of travel expenses to get Adrianna to the city for treatment, not being able to work regularly to get the care that is needed as well as the tremendous emotional hardship they will endure.
