Adrianna is a smart, beautiful, courageous, and strong-willed woman. Adrianna always maintains a positive mindset, great energy, and carries a smile on her face everywhere she goes. She has never hesitated to help others in any way she could, whether it be a friend, a family member, or a stranger. Unfortunately, she is going through an extremely difficult time in her life. Within the past 2 months, she has not been doing so well. She has gone through an incredibly difficult medical journey and needs your help as she continues to fight towards her recovery.
Adrianna's medical journey:
Our beautiful Adrianna contracted the COVID-19 virus, even while trying her very best to protect herself from it. On June 27th she was rushed by ambulance to the hospital with only 50% oxygen in her lungs, she was immediately sedated and placed on a ventilator. Due to her critical status, she was transported that same day from Queen Creek, AZ to Tucson by a medical helicopter.
During the approximately 6 weeks in the ICU, COVID lived and thrived in her lungs and body causing damage, and requiring that she remain on full life support and ventilator. Nonetheless, Adrianna, the family, and her medical team persisted through the pain, the fear, and the uncertainty as to how she could ever survive.
By the power of prayer and the goodness of our Father God Adrianna's vitals slowly returned to normal and she was taken off sedation one day at a time. On August 3rd, she began to wake up and breathe on her own with assistance from her ventilator. On July 29th a tracheostomy was done on her and she was taken off the ventilator. Little by little she improved. On August 5th she was finally stable enough to be transferred out of the hospital and moved to an acute rehabilitation center. On August 7th she began to move her hands, feet, and talk. In the following days, her feeding tube and trach were taken out. Adrianna is now breathing on her own and is grateful to be alive. She is fighting hard and focusing on her recovery and full strength and healing. She can't wait to get home to her loving husband and their dog, Queen. Little by little, day by day, Adrianna is proving to be a true testimony of God's love. She is a true miracle!
Thank you first and foremost, her family is very grateful to our Heavenly Father, God, for his wonderful blessings upon Adrianna for the Angels who continue to surround and protect her. Also to the amazing medical team consisting of dozens of dedicated physicians, surgeons, and nurses who would not give up on her. God Bless them all. They are also thankful for all of you who continue to pray for Adrianna, Praise God for all of you. Please keep storming the gates of Heaven, your prayers are powerful and effective. Adrianna has a long journey ahead.
Your help:
Adrianna and her loving husband Kerry are facing a long road to recovery both medically and financially. We're asking for your help by donating and/or sharing this page to help Adrianna and Kerry with her recovery. Adrianna deserves to live life as she did prior to her fight with COVID-19. We hope someday very soon she will be strong enough to tell her story and to express her gratitude to everyone that stood beside her in her fight. Until this day her family has yet to see, hold, or comfort Adrianna. All they want is to be by her side, hopefully, soon they will be together again. Please keep her in your prayers. <3
