Adriana and Rodrigo live in Juiz de Fora with their three daughters, whom they recently adopted. Their family was focused on building a stable and loving home for them. A few weeks ago in February 2025, severe flooding hit their community and, within hours, the water destroyed their home, their car, and almost all of their belongings. What was meant to be a time of adjustment and strengthening their new family suddenly turned into a moment of great uncertainty.
