Adriana's emergency medical flight

To all who have donated, I and my family would like to thank you for your thoughts and prayers. My sister has improved over the last three days. She is able to sit up in bed and is no longer in serious pain. The next goal is for her to be able to sit in her electric wheelchair so that she can begin the process of getting her life back. Bluecross insurance has denied her request to be flown out to CA for specialized care as they believe that she can be helped in NM. I and my family disagree and are still petitioning BlueCross to authorize her transfer to CA. In the meantime, my sister has begun physical therapy and she is responding well. My sister’s medical care has cost thousands in copays over the last two weeks from her stay in the ER, ICU and MRI's and other tests.  We understand that you have given to her campaign with the understanding that she would be flown out to CA. If any of you feel that you want your donations returned to you, we will arrange for it in the near future. My sister intends to reach out to all of you who have helped her in this trying time once she recovers. We are not sure what the next day will bring but we are hopeful that she will continue to improve.   Again, we appreciate your contributions, love, prayers and support in helping my sister get through this difficult time in her life.
