Adriana’s Covid-19 Recovery
Donation protected
Adriana is the most generous, loving and humble person I know. I am blessed beyond measure to have her as a sister-in-law and a friend. Her entire life is about caring for others. Personally, the time and care she puts into everything to make life beautiful and fun and magical for all those she loves is downright inspiring, and I count myself so lucky to be in her circle. Professionally, she cares for patients in their most vulnerable state as a hospital nurse, most recently in a unit designated for some of the sickest Covid patients. Unfortunately, she contracted the vicious illness and nearly lost her life to it. She has spent the last month in the hospital, two weeks of which she was critically ill in the ICU. Blessedly she has been downgraded to an inpatient hospital rehab center now. But after what the Covid has put her poor body through, even climbing one step feels like a mountain. She still requires constant oxygen to maintain a normal healthy level, and there’s no way to predict how long she will be kept there, much less how long before she get can get back to any semblance of normal life and work and everyday activity. I hope you will help me give back to this amazing woman who gives so much to others. Even despite the monumental physical, mental, and emotional challenges she’s facing, it’s just not in her to ask for help. Ironically, I had to convince this “giver” that others love an opportunity to give as well...especially to those they love when they’re having a hard time. Please help me show her the same love and kindness that she puts out in the world every day.
