After a liver transplant and nearly 4 year long and painful battle, our beloved Adi lost her battle with a type of cancer called cholangiocarcinoma. Those who knew her know how loving, caring & compassionate she was, she had the most beautiful traits you can imagine, she was simply beautiful inside and out. Her gentle soul was filled with laughter and sarcasm no matter what she was going through. She truly was an angel and will continue to be so as she looks after everyone she loved from above. She devoted her life to caring for her family, that was her priority in life above all else. She is survived by the love of her life, husband of 24 years Carlos dela Garza, her biggest reason for fighting, her sweet boy Carlitos, and her immediate family, parents Efren and Gabina Moreno, brothers Mario and Efren and myself, Mary. Our hearts will never recover from such a great loss of the one who was the glue to our family but we will always keep her memory alive and know that she is still present energetically, after all, our true self underneath our bodies is eternal.
There is so much to say but it is still to recent for me to be able to share all I want without breaking down. I know you all understand.
Some of you have reached out to me and expressed your love and appreciation of Adi and have asked where you can contribute towards her final costs which is why I have created this fundraiser. We are deeply moved and grateful for you offerings and please remember that no amount is too small. Even sharing this fundraiser is great help. All donations will be forwarded to my sisters husband, Carlos dela Garza, to help with some of the costs of her services and left over medical dues.
