My sister Adriana (35 years old) was diagnosed with severe heart failure when pregnant with her baby girl MariaJose. She had to be induced and had my niece at just 32 weeks, everything went well with her labor and delivery but on June 23rd 2020 she had a ischemic stroke due to her heart failure. She spent  50 days in the hospital and they told her she had to have an open heart surgery to have an LVAD put in order for her heart to function properly. Our family is going through such a hard time since we lost our father this past December. Now my older sister has to be off work to be Adriana’s caregiver and raise our baby niece. Anything can help in order for us to help Adriana get through this hard time.
