Adrian Sanchez's Funeral Costs

On Aug 11th, 2021, my son Adrian Joel Sanchez was killed by a Santa Clarita sheriff. The incident occurred on southbound 5 in Castaic before Templin hwy. There was no body cam video, there is no mention of a dash cam, and there has yet to be any witnesses that have come forward. Throughout this past week, we have attempted to find out the truth of what happened that day. However, we have been denied access to his body, his property, and information of the incident. More than 24 hrs after having contact with Adrian, his wife of 10 years decided to file a missing persons report, and it was then that law enforcement informed her of his passing. Because of the denied access of information and the delay in informing the family of his passing, we feel that the truth is being hidden for a reason that perhaps has conflicting interest with justice. Any information we have attained has been strictly from news stations and videos online. We have yet to find out the reason why he was pulled over and what the justification for shooting was.

Adrian was a father of 8 biological children and one step-daughter whom he loved dearly. His children share in the legacy of his love, laughter, and joy for life. He leaves behind these children, 4 siblings, wife, mother, father, family, and friends who all miss his pure heart and tight hugs. We only seek out the truth of what happened that day. Because of all the information we have been denied due to the absence of a police report or viewing of his body, we find it difficult to have closure from his death.
