Travel and medical expenses for Adrian Kingdollar

Hello. My name is Amaya. My brother, Adrian was recently diagnosed with stage 3 melanoma (skin cancer). This go fund me has been created to help Adrian and our parents with flights, medical expenses, and any financial need they may face as Adrian fights cancer. Below is Adrian’s story. About Adrian:

Adrian is 18 and a freshman at Florida Institute of Technology, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. In September Adrian noticed a mole on his back that seemed to have bubbled up and was draining a clear fluid. We immediately got him into a dermatologist down in Melbourne, FL where it was removed and a biopsy and testing were completed. Sadly, it came back as news we did not expect to hear. Malignant Melanoma. Since receiving this news, we've had to bring him back home to WNY to seek treatment with an oncologist. In December, Adrian under went surgery to remove a larger area around the tumor location and a biopsy of his lymph nodes was done. The results showed that the cancer was stage 3, and had spread to his lymph nodes. On 12/27/22 he received his first infusion of immunotherapy. He will need to receive an infusion every 6 weeks for one year. While this diagnosis of cancer was not in the plans for his first year of college; Adrian has made the decision he will not allow it to derail his dreams of becoming an engineer. He plans to stay on track and go back to Florida Tech. He will fly home every 6 weeks for treatment. We are asking for donations to help make this happen. Any additional funds will be used for Adrian’s needs as he battles cancer such as medical bills, and financial support in general. It is our hope to give him this wish of remaining in college, and support him as he fights on. Any dollar amount will help this cause.
