Back in September my dad was diagnosed with tongue cancer which had spread to lymph nodes in his neck, he then had surgery to remove part of the tongue where the cancer was and all lymph nodes in neck from ear to ear.

He was healing nicely and started speaking after a week and eating properly not long after, but then he started radiotherapy, his neck become inflamed and swollen so he was unable to eat. He started loosing weight and having shoulder and chest pain, he went to the doctors several times and they kept saying its all normal from the surgery and radiotherapy.

Fast forward to last week 9th July my dad was in a lot of pain with his chest to the point it hurts him to breathe and unable to walk, he went to a&e and had chest xray and was asked to come back the day after for a CT scan, we was devasted to be told that the cancer had spread to his lungs and liver, it is terminal (not curable).

We have been given some hope from several sources that there is drug we can get from America which as shown to not only stop cancer from spreading but also to possibly shrink it and give him a longer life. But it comes at a cost.

I am asking anyone who knows my dad or even if you dont know him but you want to help, to donate as much or as little as you can to get the money to buy this drug and give my dad as much time as possible with his loved ones.

My dad is truly one of a kind, he has a big heart and a great sense of humour and I want to fight for him, so please help me keep my dad with us and stay with my mom, his children and grandchildren who adore him.
