Adrian was recently diagnosed with terminal brain cancer; the tumour is considered rare, affecting a very small percentage of the UK population per year and has likely been present for a long period of time, impacting Adrian’s ability to work, socialise and be his usual self.

This diagnosis has come as a great shock to him and his family. In the next few weeks, he will be undergoing a very serious, potentially life-threatening operation, followed by a programme of radio and chemo therapy. The actions agreed with the Neuro—Oncology team are to pro-long his life as much as possible.

For those of you that know our Dad, you’ll know him as a charismatic, comedic, kind, loving, positive, hard-working man. He has taken the diagnosis in his stride and has been the same cheeky character throughout the diagnosis. All we can hope for is that he is strong and will pull through this.
