My little brother Adrian was hurt 10/26/23 riding his electric skateboard without a helmet. He was riding to school after getting out of strength training for his deployment to the Navy in June.
Initially Adrian had no form of identification or emergency contact listed on his phone so he was taken in to UCD Sacramento as a John Doe. It wasn't until 10pm that night hours after he fell his family was even informed that he was in the hospital.
Since no one knows how long he was unconscious before a good cemeritain called 911 the doctors were unsure if he would survive that first night. As of today he has made small improvements, and the doctors are optimistic with the swelling in his brain going down. It looks hopeful but their is still no guarantees.
Adrian is extremely loved by his family and friends. He is an active member of his school and community with volleyball, paint ball, and volunteering with his schools theater department. This year he is a senior at Cordova Highschool and was supposed to graduate in May of 2024.
Both of our parents currently are out of work and anything helps with medical expenses. We appreciate everyone and thank you for your prayers and kind words.
