It is often in the darkest skies that we see the brightest stars.
Last year, Adriana was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) on February 9th. Adri, as her friends know her, underwent a bone marrow transplant at the Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto. Through many months of difficult times, Adri beat her cancer and had a successful transplant and was on her road to recovery.
Unfortunately, the cancer is back. Adri will once again have to find a matching donor and undergo the transplant process at the Stanford Hospital. Once again, they will have numerous expenses in the fight against Leukemia. Extensive medical insurance deductibles, gas for travel, meals, lodging during the transplant, etc. Due to her recovery, Adri is no longer able to work, and they must now go through this with half the income.
No one deserves to take this fight on once, let alone twice. Let's do everything can to help them focus on Adri's health and allow them to keep their family together as much as possible during the process. Please share this with everyone you possibly know, all social accounts you may have, any email lists you participate in, etc.
