ONE GIRLS JOURNEY...........

     When only four years of age my daughter saw me shooting around in the church gym. After watching for a while, like most kids at that age she asked me for the ball. I put her on the foul line and told her to try it. She made her very first basket! I didn't believe what I saw, so I gave her the ball once more to only witness her second free throw made with ease. I said to myself, we may have something here! Since then she has worked very hard year after year, missing out on friends and functions to learn to play the game.
      Aaliyah has been an honor student as long as we can remember. She recently was inducted into the National Honors Society! Plays on the Varsity Basketball team at her high school and donates her time to local charities helping with food give away, financial literacy for youth and is a mentor to three young girls in the area. She is the best daughter any parent could have!
     This spring will be the ending of her junior year in high school. Her dream is to enter into college on a basketball scholarship, so she has joined an AAU basketball team that will travel through out many cities here in the United States. This opportunity will be a great way for her to be seen by college coaches and scouts from all over the country. 
     In order for Aaliyah to make a huge impact towards her goal of a basketball scholarship we need your help!  The cost is one that we as her parents will struggle greatly to make happen. The donations received will go toward the cost of traveling, hotels, fees and meals. So, we ask that you please find in your hearts to help us to help turn her dreams into a reality!
