Adora's Spinal Rod Surgery

Adora is 4 years old and was diagnosed with idiopathic progressive infantile scoliosis. She has been through three and a half years of upper body casts every two months. now her curve is at 95 degrees and she is going to have the growing rod surgery in Febuary. First they are going to do surgery to screw a halo on her head and put her in traction for about a month to try and get the  curve down to 60 as it will be easier to do the rod surgery. She is very small and it will be more risky because of that. She will be in The children's hospital for about five weeks for both surgeries. My husband and I will take leave of absences to be with her, along with our 18 month old. We need help to cover food, gas and living expenses while we go through this very difficult time. We will be away from our home for the duration....The hospital is not close. We would also like to get Adora some things to do while she's there because she will be in the bed or wheel chair the entire time.
