To be honest, I don't even know what to say. I never thought I'd be writing something like this. But I'm doing this for my family and our work family.

So, I will begin with a simple hello.

Hello, I am the owner of Adonnas Garden St Cafe, a cherished local gem that has been serving delectable pastries and sweet memories to our community in Pensacola, Florida for many years now. We are a close family that has all worked together so hard to create this wonderful business. And we are at best, completely heartbroken for all those involved.

As of writing this, we don't know who the people were driving the vehicle or their condition, but our hearts and prayers go out to them and their families. We pray for their well-being and hope they are ok. We ask everyone to pray for them as well.

What happened?

On March 16, 2024, in the early hours of the morning, our business suffered a devastating blow. A car plowed into the front of the building causing extreme damage. Our flour-dusted aprons now hang as relics, and the laughter that once filled our cozy nook has turned into a haunting echo.

But we refuse to knead defeat into our dough. Our love for our family and our community is unyielding. We are determined to rise from the ashes, dust off our rolling pins, and recreate the magic that once graced our counters.

When GoFundMe asked how much money we wanted donated, I didn't know what to put. The dollar amount listed, is just what came to mind. So, any amount donated will be appreciated.

Your contribution will go directly toward taking care of our employees and helping keep our business alive during the time we are shut down.

We wanted to thank everyone for reaching out to us and those who have donated. To answer many questions that have been pouring in. We do not expect to get the amount that was set on here. Any money recieved will go to our employees lost wages as that is something the insurance doesn't cover. They will also not cover the loss of food, sales, or the start cost to get everything cleaned and started to be repaired. This is a large unexpected cost that could take 6 months to a year to get paid for. We and our staff can not afford to close for that long. Please feel free reach out with any questions!
